Around the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area, winter can be experienced in all its untouched beauty. Listen to the silence as the deep snow swallows every sound while you hike along 12 kilometers of cleared winter hiking trails through snow-covered stone pine forests to quiet vantage points. Snow-sure high altitude trails make cross-country skiing at 1,930 meters a pure panoramic delight. Passionate ski tourers will find beginner-friendly, leisurely routes here as well as multi-day Hautes Routes adventures. In the evening, the three kilometer long natural toboggan run boasts weekly night tobogganing.
